Carsons Corner: Eric Prindle returns to talk about the pubic bone axe kick heard around the world!
Is the Thiago Santos vs. Eric Prindle Bellator heavyweight matchup officially CURSED?
After a kick to the gonads of a downed Prindle prematurely ended the first fight, missed weights, illness and other misfortunes followed to thwart booking of the rematch until earlier this month.
But all did not go well in the second fight either, as a bizarre role-reversal saw Prindle landing possibly the sickest giant axe kick to the body in MMA history, breaking Santos’s pubic bone in the process.
Prindle was disqualified for the low blow, but was that the right call? Did the referee jump the gun by disqualifying Prindle, who had to settle for a “no contest” when the same thing happened to him?
Bob and “The American Soldier” get right to the heart of this head-scratching turn of events. If you want to find out what was going through Prindle’s mind as he improvised what would have been an incredible finishing strike outside of the ring, you need to tune in and hear Bob Carson bring out the best in another guest!
After talking to Eric, Bob goes through some of YOUR listener e-mail and speaks his mind on the state of combative sports!
