Fight Factory and Team AKA member Jon Fitch calls BJ Penn a ‘coward’

On Tuesday, Jon Fitch was part of a conference call for AKA’s new “Fight Factory” reality series which debut’s on Nuvo TV on August 15th. During one of the more interesting moments of the call, Fitch continued to show a public dislike for former Team AKA fighter B.J. Penn at one point even calling him a “coward.”

“Here at AKA, we’ve got fighters who come out to fight, fighters who will face anyone and don’t hide from any opponents. You’ve also got cowards out there like B.J. Penn who say they want to fight people, but then they run and hide.”

Fitch has made it clear that although Penn has mentioned that he would like to train again in San Jose with Team AKA, the feeling, at least with Fitch is not mutual. When asked to clarify if Penn is a coward, Fitch said, “Yes. He’s a coward. He wouldn’t be welcomed here.”
