Anderson Silva talks youth and being called gay

UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva recently opened up about more than one person thinking he was gay during his youth. Among the reasons for others to think that of Silva is his high pitched voice and thinking it was “normal” to allow his sister to dress him up with girl’s clothes and play with dolls.

“We would wear a dress, put on her shoes,” the UFC champion told Tatame. “And because I am very vain about my appearance, and have a high voice, a lot of people were sure I was gay.”

Silva who has been married for 15 years actually married young and has five children.
