Dan Hederson discusses fighting Jon Jones at UFC 151

Former Strikeforce and UFC champion Dan Henderson recently discussed his upcoming title bout against light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. Check out what he had to say below:
On fighting Jones after 9 months, the longest he has waited between fights in his career:
“I probably would’ve rather fought a lot sooner,” Henderson said. “But I’m giving myself a pretty long training camp to ease into it – and then I’ll go hard.”
On being a 6-1 underdog to Jones:
“I don’t really think about what other people think,” Henderson said. “I know what I know. I know what I can do and what I’m capable of doing. I’m going to focus on what what I’m going to do to him, and not on what he’s maybe going to do to me.”
On where he thinks he can take advantage of Jones:
“I think where he likes to fight, other than way on the outside, is when he gets in the clinch,” Henderson said. “And that’s one of my biggest strengths. It’s just a matter of who’s got a better clinch game and who can implement their game plan.”
