Alan Belcher wants to fight Vitor Belfort

UFC middleweight Alan Belcher was recently interviewed about fighting Anderson Silva and had some interesting comments on getting the fight. Check out the highlights below:

On working his way up to UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva:

“I am working on it. I want Vitor. It makes sense, but he has to agree,” Belcher said via email. “It would be the biggest fight of my career. He needs to fight me to be the best right now. He knows it but is smart, he knows I am hard to beat. I would appreciate the opportunity and take the fight very seriously”.

On wanting the Belfort fight in Brazil:

“I loved Rio when I visited. I have friends there and I would be very comfortable. I look forward to winning the fight and winning more Brazilian fans”, he added.
