Dana White Says Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson Is Gone From UFC

What was a likelihood turned into certainty this morning as Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson has been cut by UFC. Last night UFC President Dana White said that the end was nigh for the would be middleweight, “We are probably going to cut Anthony Johnson,” White said to FUEL TV. This morning the fighter who has missed making weight several times was let go.

“Three strikes and you’re gone” White said to MMAJunkie this morning. “I knew what the decision was when I talked to you on Friday,” White continued. “This is his third time. Listen, the guy was having problems making 170 pounds. He wanted to stay at 170 or whatever his deal was. You go to 185, and you blow it as bad as he blew it? That’s bad, man.”
