Wanderlei Silva Wants To Make BBQing Fans Happy At UFC 139

“My motivation is back,” Silva said. “I need to make my fans happy again. I have a lot of fans around the world. I know Saturday a lot of guys are going to have barbecue in their homes, and I know my responsibility to the millions and millions and millions of people that are going to watch that fight. I want to make my fans happy.”
On his and Cain Velasquez’ knockout losses -
”It happened with Cain Velasquez last week. You never know” Silva continued. ”In the first three minutes, everybody has power. The gloves are very small. One punch can finish you. But we tried to train so that this won’t happen anymore.”
On his UFC 139 opponent Cung Le -
“[Le] is a professional. He’s coming from kickboxing his whole life. He’s a really good opponent and a dangerous opponent, of course.”
