Reagan Penn Makes Debut At Pro-Elite Hawaii
Pro-Elite makes it’s return to the fight world on August 27th. After the failure of the first promotion, it’s now back with T. Jay Thompson calling all the shots. Thompson is the former head of Icon, and he’s brought former Strikeforce matchmaker Rich Chou on board as well. Their first event takes place in Hawaii, and is headlined by journeyman Andrei Arlovski Vs Ray Lopez. This is a much needed win for Arlovski, and if he loses to an unknown fighter it could be the end of his fighting career.
Also on the card Kendall Grove Vs Joe Riggs in the Co-Main Event. This will be Grove’s first fight since being released by the UFC. In perhaps what some might say is the most anticipated fight on the card, is the pro MMA debut of BJ Penn’s brother, Reagan Penn.
The rest of the card is as follows:
Jake Heun Vs Mark Ellis (Heavyweight)
Drew McFedries vs Kala Hose (Middleweight)
Sarah McMann vs Raquel Pa’aluhi (women’s 135 lbs)
Chris Cisneros vs Sale Sproat (Welterweight)
The event takes place on August 27th and will be streamed on Sherdog.com immediately following UFC 134.
