MMA Loses At ESPY’s… Again

Jon Jones, Georges St. Pierre and Fabricio Werdum came up short at the 2011 ESPY Awards last night. Jones and St-Pierre were each nominated in the “Best Fighter” category of the award show, while Werdum’s win over Fedor Emelianenko was nominated for the year’s Best Upset. Jones and GSP lost to Manny Pacquaio, while Best Upset went to Virginia Commonwealth University’s run to the Final Four in the 2011 NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament.
